Book Review: Cinder

I haven't posted on here in three months, it's insane! I actually forgot about this blog completely, haha.

Anyway, I finished Cinder a while ago but I've been way too lazy to review it! So now I'm finally making my first review in months on this book.

The Basics:

Cinder is Marissa Meyer's debut novel. It's a futuristic, dystopian retelling of the Cinderella fairy tale and in it, cyborg mechanic Cinder learns that she isn't the plain, orphan robot that she thought she was. This book is a quick read for fast readers, and even for slow readers it's only like three or four days' worth. But even though it's a kind of short book, it's still a good one.

Book Review: Monument 14

The Basics:

Monument 14 is the debut novel of Emmy Laybourne. It's a young adult survival book about a group of fourteen teenagers and little kids who end up trapped inside a department store during a natural disaster that turns out to be not so natural. 

What is this, anyway?

I made another blog. Yeah, I know, you're tired of me. TOO BAD! Anyway, this blog is going to be mostly book reviews, and occasionally movie reviews too. I'm sorry that my blog looks so "suck-y" right now. I'm trying to edit it and customize it so excuse the rough look. So, basically, this post is just explaining what I'll be posting about in the future. No whiny posts about my life. No complaints about my appearance. Just realistic, honest reviews. (What a relief, right?)
